An active commercial sitework package: excavators cutting a pad, an articulated dump truck placing fill, and graded subgrade running back to a building shell

Self-Performed Sitework

Dirt—Utilities—Concrete

We move what every project starts with.

Own iron. Own crews. We move the dirt, lay the utilities and pour the concrete that everything else is built on — self-performed, and bid in quantities we stand behind.

Scope Dirt / Utilities /
Concrete
Delivery Self-performed
Market [ region ]
Prequal On request
Own Iron Venado equipment on Venado jobs.
Own Crews Dirt, utilities and concrete run by our people.
Self-Performed The sitework package stays in one set of hands.
Quantities Numbers we stand behind, not numbers we hope for.

The three capabilities

Dirt, then utilities,
then concrete.

Every project starts underground and works its way up. Venado Infrastructure self-performs all three courses — the same iron, the same crews and the same quantities carrying the package from first cut to final pour.

Earthwork

Dirt

The first thing on site and the thing every later trade inherits. We cut, move and place the material, then hand over a pad that holds the grades it was given.

  • Mass excavation
  • Grading
  • Pads
  • Site balance

Wet Utilities

Utilities

Everything that goes in the ground before it is closed up. Trench, bed, lay, structure and tie in — the work nobody sees again once the pour goes down.

  • Water
  • Sanitary sewer
  • Storm drainage
  • Structures
  • Tie-ins

Site Concrete

Concrete

The surface the site is finally judged on. Formed, placed and finished by the same outfit that set the grades it sits on, so the elevations still agree.

  • Paving
  • Curb and gutter
  • Flatwork
  • Site structural

Proof

Quantities we
stand behind.

A sitework bid is a set of numbers somebody has to own. We price the work we intend to perform, in the units it is measured in, and we put our name against the take-off. Ask and the numbers come with the package.

Qualification

Equipment &
capabilities.

Everything you need to qualify us, in one place. Own iron means the schedule below is ours, not a rental list assembled per job. Ask for the package and it comes back as a single document.

Project record

What we actually
performed.

Read these the way you would read a reference sheet: scope, quantity, units, and which of the three courses Venado carried. Photographs are here to show the work, not to sell the finished building.

Bid-ready

Built for
the bid.

Qualifying a sitework contractor should take one email, not three weeks of chasing. Everything you need to price us, vet us and put us on the list is either on this page or one request away.

The Venado family

Sitework first.
Building next.

Venado Infrastructure and Venado Commercial sell into the same rooms — the same owners, developers and general contractors, at two different points on the same job. Either one can hand the other work, and often does.

Venado Infrastructure is the sitework arm of the Venado family of companies, built on the same self-perform capability that Venado Commercial builds with and Venado Restoration rebuilds with. One standard, one set of crews, one name behind the work.
